Holding strength varies with the surface material, paint thickness, cleanliness, magnet contact area, and weight of the completed piece. Some stainless steel appliances, aluminum surfaces, glass doors, and plastic panels are not magnetic.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR PHOTO MAGNET

1. Choose your design: Select a photo, drawing, logo, or other image you have permission to use.
2. Print and trim: Size the image to fit a 5 × 5 cm square, print it, and carefully trim the edges.
3. Check the layout: Place the image behind the acrylic before using adhesive to confirm its position and orientation.
4. Remove the protective film: Peel the film from the acrylic surfaces as directed. Check both sides, as more than one layer may be present.
5. Attach the photo: Use the supplied double-sided adhesive to secure the image evenly behind the acrylic.
6. Add the magnet: Center the flexible magnetic backing on the rear of the assembled piece and press firmly.
7. Allow the adhesive to set: Wait before placing the magnet vertically, following any timing directions supplied with the product.
8. Test the surface: Place the finished magnet gently on a compatible magnetic-steel surface and confirm that it holds securely.
